Звездный путь: Вояджер

Подробно о 5 сезоне

In the season opener 'Night', Voyager enters a vast dark region of space where theta radiation drains the ship's power. The crew struggles to find a way through, and Captain Janeway becomes increasingly isolated, while the ship seems doomed to drift. However, they eventually find a way out with the help of an alien race living in the darkness, and Voyager escapes, but the experience leaves a mark on the crew.

Later, in 'Drone', an accident with the Doctor's mobile emitter combines with Seven of Nine's nanoprobes and Ensign Mulcahey's DNA, creating a 29th-century Borg drone. The drone, named One, develops humanity and ultimately sacrifices himself to save Voyager from a Borg cube, showing the potential for Borg to evolve beyond the Collective.

In 'Extreme Risk', B'Elanna Torres deliberately puts herself in dangerous situations, revealing her guilt over her Maquis past and her inability to cope with loss. Meanwhile, the crew constructs a new shuttle, the Delta Flyer, which becomes a key asset for the ship. This episode highlights B'Elanna's emotional struggles and the crew's resilience.

The mid-season brings the two-part 'Dark Frontier', where Janeway plots to steal a transwarp coil from the Borg to speed Voyager's journey home. The Borg Queen is aware of the plan and manipulates Seven of Nine into rejoining the Collective, threatening Voyager's assimilation. Janeway leads a rescue mission to save Seven, successfully retrieving her and securing the coil, but not without significant risk and personal cost.

As the season progresses, several pivotal events occur: In 'Timeless', a future timeline shows Voyager crash-landing on an ice planet due to a mistake, but Harry Kim and Chakotay send a message back in time to prevent the tragedy. In 'Thirty Days', Tom Paris helps an aquatic world against orders, resulting in his demotion to Ensign and a sentence of 30 days in the brig, straining his relationship with B'Elanna. Other notable episodes include 'Course: Oblivion', where the crew discovers they are biomimetic duplicates from the Demon planet, facing disintegration, and 'Equinox, Part I', which ends the season with Voyager finding another Federation ship, the USS Equinox, under attack.
